Become A Volunteer

As a neighborhood organization, the 27th Ward provides a variety of ways to get involved. Many people choose to volunteer and contribute their time to helping others. Another way to get involved is to donate funds to help further assist the deployment of our programs and services. You can also get involved by becoming active in the community. Whether it’s at the local, state or federal level, communicating with government officials is a great way to show your support for the 27th Ward and the work it does in our communities.

Think about what matters to you, and be selective about where you spend your time. Choosing opportunities that make you feel good while helping others builds stronger communities, and enriches your own life at the same time.

The 27th Ward works with volunteers and local nonprofits to develop the best opportunities for youth, busy working adults and seniors to serve. If you would like to donate your time or available funds to empower your community please contact us at:
